Privacy Notice

At CTCO Global Ticaret İthalat İhracat Ltd. Şti., we take the security of your personal data seriously. This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") to inform you about the personal data processed through the ctcoglobal.com website and its quote request form.

We do not request special categories of personal data (health, religion, ethnic origin, etc.); please do not include such information in the project details field.

4. How we collect data
We collect personal data directly from you through the quote form on our website, by email, by phone and via WhatsApp. Security data is collected automatically through server logs when you visit the website.
5. Transfers of personal data
Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be shared with:
- Service providers: website hosting (Netlify, Inc.), delivery of the quote form to our inbox (FormSubmit), business email (Google Workspace) and web fonts (Google Fonts). If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your messages are transmitted through WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) infrastructure.
- Business partners: manufacturers, freight forwarders and customs brokers, to the extent needed to prepare your quote and order.
- Competent public authorities: where required by law.
International transfers: As the servers of the service providers listed above are located outside Türkiye (mainly in the USA and the European Union), personal data processed through the quote form and website is transferred abroad within the scope of Article 9 of the KVKK.
6. Retention period
Quote requests are kept for 2 years after the request is concluded. If your request results in a contract, the related data is kept for the periods required by Turkish law, such as the Turkish Commercial Code and the Tax Procedure Law (generally 10 years). Data is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information about such processing,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred,
- request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- request deletion or destruction of data under the conditions of Article 7,
- request that corrections, deletions or destructions be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred,
- object to any result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
- claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
8. How to submit a request
You can send requests regarding your rights, together with information that identifies you, by email to info@ctcoglobal.com or in writing to our address above, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Requests are answered free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.
9. Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser.
- We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Our website does not place any cookie that monitors visitor behaviour or serves advertising.
- The only browser record: when you close the cookie notice with "Got it", this choice is stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage) so the notice is not shown again. It contains no personal data and is necessary for the site to work.
- Third-party content: web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in the process. Netlify, which hosts our website, keeps server logs for security purposes.
You can view and delete cookies and local storage records at any time in your browser settings. If we start using analytics or marketing cookies in the future, they will only be activated with your explicit consent and this policy will be updated.
